Who we are
This website is operated by Trebor Restorations Ltd ("Trebor", "we", "us"), a specialist stone and brick restoration business serving London and the South East. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights below, contact us through our enquiry page or by email at hello@treborrestorations.com.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information. First, details you give us directly — when you complete the enquiry form or contact us, we receive your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your building and project. We use this only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, and provide a quote.
Second, analytics information about how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is collected only with your consent (see cookies below) and is used to understand and improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Cookies and analytics
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing non-essential is set unless you accept.
Google Analytics (GA4). If you accept, we use Google Analytics to measure site usage. It sets cookies in your browser and shares aggregated data with Google. If you decline — or ignore the banner — these cookies are not set and Google Analytics does not track you. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.
Cloudflare Web Analytics. We also use Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics, which is cookieless and does not track or fingerprint individuals. It does not set cookies and requires no consent.
Legal basis
We handle enquiry data on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to potential clients. Analytics cookies are used on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and project correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, plus a reasonable period for our records and legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and business — such as Google (analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting and analytics) — and where we are legally required to. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
